Basmati Rice : 250 grams
Ghee : 3 spoons
Cumin Seeds : 1 spoon
Bay Leavs : 3 nos
Cinnamin : 4 small pieces
Clovers : 4 nos
Cardamom : Two nos
Tomotos : Four nos.
Green Chillies : 4
Onions : 2 nos
Methi : 1 Bunch
Black Pepper Powder : half spoon
Garam Masala : one spoon
Cooked Pototos : 2 nos
Salt : To taste
First rinse methi in salted water and remove methi leave from stems and keep it a side
Rinse the rice and soak for atleast 30 minutes.
Take a wide pan add ghee and heat it. Now add cumin seeds, bay leaves, cloves and cardmom, fry it for two minutes. Then add chopped onions, green chilli, cooked pototos chopped, methi leaves, cook it on medium flame until the raw smell was gone.
Then add soaked rice, salt, pepper powder, garam masala and sufficient water (1:2 ratio) keep led on cooker or vessel and cook well until the water absorbs completely. Remove the vessel from stove and serve it hot.
