Veg Biryani

Ingredients required
Basmati Rice - 250 grams
Onion - 1 no
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 spoon
Green Chilies - 4 nos
Carrot - 2 nos
Beans : 50 grams
Pototos : 2 nos : Cook well)
Green peas - 50 grams
Cumin seeds - 1 spoon
Oil - 2 spoons
Ghee : 2 spoons Garam Masala : 1 spoon
Salt - to taste
Cooking method
Rinse and soak the rice for 30 minutes
Take a pan or pressure cooker add Ghee and Oil and heat well. Add the cumin seeds after sauteing for a minute, add onions, chopped green chili and ginger garlic paste.
Saute for a minute and add the chopped vegetables. cook this on low flame for 5 minutes
Then add soaked rice, water (1:2 ratio) salt and stir well to mix all thing well. Cook till all the water is absorbed and the rice is cooked soft. Serve it hotly with kurma or curd chutney.
