Rice : 500 grams
Spinach : 6 bunches
Oil : 3 table spoons
Cardamom : 4 nos.
Cloves : 4 nos
Cinnamin : two pieces
Cumin Seeds : 1 spoon
Pulav leaf : two nos
Green Chillies : six nos
Onion : 2 nos
Zinger, garlic paster : 2 spoons
Garam Masala : half spoon
Turmeric powder : half spoon
Salt : to taste
Lemon Juice : Half lemon
Cashew Nuts : 10 Nos.
Cooking Method
Soak rice for 30 minutes and cook it well. Rinse spinach in salt water and cut it tiny pieces. Take a pan add oil or ghee, heat it and add pulav leaf, cloves, cinnamin, cumin sees and fry it for one minute. Now add chopped onions, green chillies, zinger paste, garam masala, salt, turmeric powder stir and fry it for sometime. Then add tiny spinach and cook it two to three minutes, then add cooked rice and stir well to mix all ingedients well. Finally add cashew nuts and lemon juice, now palak rice is ready. serve it hotly with kurma or curd chutney
